About the Opportunity

Welch LLP is currently looking for an Office Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining office systems and processes and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and management of operations for all office administration functions of the Gatineau office.
  • Provide receptionist and administrative support to partners and professional staff in the Gatineau office, as needed
  • Ensure the office remains well maintained and in good repair, liaising with building management as required
  • Maintain and update inventory of office supplies
  • Review and suggest improvements as needed for administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new Gatineau employees
  • Assist in the coordination of administrative projects such as specific filing demands, and other ad-hoc needs
  • Review and analyze reports for management
  • Act as the main liaison with the Ottawa operations team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in the field of business administration or management.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in office administration.
  • In-depth understanding of office management procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French languages is mandatory
