About the Opportunity
Welch LLP is currently looking for a Practice Leader within Risk Advisory to build and lead our Technology Risk Management practice, as part of our Advisory Services Group, in order to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the marketplace.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Timely coordination with the audit practice to ensure that technology risks at audit clients are adequately addressed in financial audit planning, execution and reporting.
- Collaborate with client service teams to identify opportunities, then close and deliver engagements to help clients identify, understand and manage technology risks related to systems projects, business operations and cybersecurity.
- Develop Technology Internal Audit and third-party controls assurance services.
- Technology Risk Management practice.
- Build long-term trusted relationships with clients.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of audit and advisory experience with
- At least 5 years experience in technology risk advisory, IT audit or internal audit ;
- At least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- CA/CPA and CISA designations required, CISSP preferred, CIA a bonus;
- Strong understanding of business risks and audit risks, and ability to translate technology risks into business and audit risks;
- In-depth knowledge of general IT controls, application controls, and, cybersecurity measures, including how to test these controls;
- High level of autonomy, professional maturity and resourcefulness;
- Personal effectiveness, continuous learning and technical expertise;
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage the execution of a large number of engagements effectively;
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and client relationships;
- Demonstrated ability to attract, retain and manage different levels of staff;
- Ability to effectively utilize information technology audit and data analysis tools;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Written and oral skills in French would be a strong asset
