A Velvet Affair Raises $9,663 for Optimist Club of Cornwall

A Velvet Affair fundraiser brought together local supporters, volunteers, and sponsors to raise an impressive $9,663 in support of the Optimist Club of Cornwall.

The event, which featured entertainment sponsored by Welch Cornwall, was a vibrant celebration of community engagement and generosity. Among the dedicated volunteers were Welch LLP’s very own Angie Savard and Michaela Brunton, both active members of the Optimist Club, who contributed their time and energy to ensure the event’s success.

Funds raised will go directly toward the Optimist Club’s youth and community-focused programs and initiatives in Cornwall, continuing the organization’s mission to bring out the best in kids through community service and support.
