The Welch Community Foundation Commits $250,000 to The Ottawa Hospital’s Campaign to Create Tomorrow

The Welch Community Foundation today announced a pledge of $250,000 to The Ottawa Hospital’s Campaign to Create Tomorrow, to be funded over the next five years in support of the hospital’s leading care and research priorities. 

“Our community relies on The Ottawa Hospital, and we’re honoured to play a role in shaping its future,” said Welch LLP Managing Partner Jim McConnery. “This donation is the largest in the Firm’s history, reflecting our belief in caring for our community, creating meaningful impact, and empowering others wherever we can.”

The funds will support the hospital’s most critical priorities, bringing together modern care, digital innovation, and research excellence to deliver better, faster care for patients. The Ottawa Hospital is building a new state‑of‑the‑art healthcare facility and academic research centre, which will shape the future of care for our region and beyond.
