With a wealth of experience in the not-for-profit and charity sector, Samantha’s role is to represent Welch LLP in the Ottawa and Toronto markets and help our clients generate value from the services we provide.

Prior to joining Welch, Samantha worked in industry for a number of years. She joined Welch LLP in 2012 as a co-op student and began full-time in 2013, after completing her Bachelor of Commerce, Honours, with a specialization in Accounting from Carleton University. She obtained her CPA, CA designation in 2015.

In September 2016, she moved from Ottawa to Toronto, looking to make her mark on a new city. Since moving to Toronto, she continues to provide audit and assurance services to a wide-range of clients.

Over her career, Samantha has spearheaded participation in fundraising initiatives like the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike Ride, which the Ottawa office has taken part in since 2014. Together we raised over $6,600 in 2016 alone for heart and stroke research.

Hiking down from the peak of Mount Pilatus in Lucerne, Switzerland – quite the hike but it sure is beautiful!
