Cornwall Wears Orange

Cornwall wears orange in honour of Truth & Reconciliation on this September 30th 2024.

On the Nation Day for Truth and Reconciliation we:
– Wear orange
– Review the 94 Calls to Action
– Share the story of Phyllis Webstad
– Patriciate in Orange Shirt Day events
– Listen to the stories of survivors and families affected by residential schools
– Explain the significance of Orange Shirt Day to our children and families
– Keep the conservation going well beyond today
– Continue to support indigenous owned businesses and authors
