The Welch Walkers

This past Feb 22^nd was the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser event in Ottawa, a 2km or 5km walk starting at 55 Colonel By Drive.

Our Welch Walkers once again participated in the walk, raising $4,205.50. The Welch Community Foundation is matching $1,500 to the funds raised. Thank you to Ian Bambrough, our team captain, and the awesome team members Morgan Dekker, Jenna Martelle, Kaitlyn Klepsch, Kyle Bacciaglia, Owen Taylor, and Xianglin Wang, who braved the coldest night of the year to raise money for a great cause!

Congratulations to the successful CNOY committee on surpassing their fundraising goal of $150,000 for the Ottawa Mission! This year, the teams in total raised $192,697. If you missed the event, but would like to make a donation, donations are being accepted until March 31, 2025. Donations can be made here.
