John DiLabio began working at Welch LLP in 1982 and has worked extensively with owner management enterprises. John is involved in all areas of client needs from audit, corporate tax, personal tax, acquisitions, dispositions and estate planning. John’s current role is to advise and guide clients in all business and personal tax planning.
John graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce Honors, with majors in Accounting and Auditing. Prior to joining Welch, he worked at a large international accounting firm.

My passion is Curling – Co-Chair of Building new facility (1994-2004), Co-Chair of the Ontario Curling Provincial Championships (2020), Co-Chair of the Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic (2016-present) international curling event hosting teams from across Canada and 11 Countries) and Induction to the Governor General Curling Club (2024)
