Kim has been with Welch LLP for 17 years. During her first years with the company Kim worked on assurance teams performing audits and taxation. She later switched gears to work on Welch’s specialized contracts within the telecommunications sector, which she continues to work on today. Through this avenue she has developed expertise in fund administration for government-regulated industries and in billing and collections services.
Kim began working at Welch LLP in the Cornwall office as a co-op student in 1999 and was hired full-time by the Ottawa office in 2000 after graduating from the University of Ottawa. She received her Chartered Accountant Designation in 2002.

Most memorable vacation
Cayo Coco, Cuba. This trip was a spiritual retreat with a group of strangers. We started our days on the beach at dawn with sun gazing and meditation followed by satsangs. This retreat reminded me of the importance of grounding myself and reminded me of my connection with the Earth.

Raising two well-rounded boys!
