With more than 30 years of experience in management and operational consulting, Michael Taylor has a lot to bring to the table at Welch. Having completed his education from Western University with a BSc Computer science, he has proceeded to work with some of the top Fortune 100 companies for most of his career.
His specialties include strategy creation, business development, relationship management, data analysis, team leadership and motivation. He also has significant experience in forecasting, profit & loss and margin improvement.
For the last 3 years, Michael has also enjoyed being a Program Director at the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) in Sales Leadership where his mandate is to deliver exceptional higher value sales leadership training to enable greatness through leadership, strategy and performance management.
Prior to joining WCP as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Michael was Senior Partner at the Poirier Group where his role involved global business development inclusive of partnerships and private equity as well as management lead for all of marketing.
Michael’s role is to build creative and progressive business practices that consistently deliver bottom line results. His career-long record of developing constructive relationships and negotiating complex agreements has enabled him to develop long-term loyal customers among Canada’s and the world’s leading companies.
