Michel Bossé

Michel has experience in personal, corporate and U.S. income tax and is responsible for Canadian tax compliance in the Ottawa office. His work also includes cross-border tax issues relating to Canadian tax compliance.

Michel obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa in 1986 and joined Welch LLP in the same year. He received his CA designation in 1989 and joined the Welch tax group in 1990. He completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in 1993 and became a Tax Principal in 2005.

Michel has assisted in the authoring of the annual Income Tax Update course, which is taught nationally through the CPA professional development program as well as APEX courses which are part Welch LLP’s internal professional development program. He is also responsible for the annual “Tax Facts and Figures” publication issued by Welch LLP each year.
