Samantha Slater, CPA, CA, is a Senior Manager at Welch LLP who works closely with not-for-profit organizations, charities, associations, and public sector entities to navigate audit and reporting requirements and strengthen financial oversight.

Since joining Welch in 2012 and beginning full-time in 2013, Samantha has developed deep expertise in audit and assurance engagements, particularly within the not-for-profit sector. She works with a wide range of organizations including associations, foundations, and government-related entities, and is known for her collaborative and practical approach to solving complex accounting and reporting challenges.

Samantha is actively involved in Welch’s Not-for-Profit Industry Group, where she contributes to strengthening the firm’s expertise and service delivery for organizations operating in this sector. She regularly collaborates with colleagues across offices to support proposals, complex engagements, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that help strengthen Welch’s presence in the not-for-profit sector.

Beyond her client work, Samantha is passionate about mentoring the next generation of professionals. She has contributed to internal training programs and regularly supports CPA candidates and team members as they develop their technical and leadership skills.
