On December 3rd, the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa was filled with warmth and community spirit as Intiricti hosted the 25th annual Bells on Bank Street. It was a morning that reminded us of the power of connection, generosity, and hope.
The event featured an inspiring keynote from philanthropic partner Gordon Mackay, who spoke on this year’s theme, “Silver Bells.” His message resonated deeply: true hospitality is not just about opening doors—it’s about opening hearts. It’s about creating space for others emotionally, spiritually, and practically, so that everyone feels they belong.
Amid the celebration, there was also a moment of heartfelt remembrance for our late partner, Garth Steele. His courage and wisdom, shared through his Faith Over Fear blog during his battle with ALS, continue to guide and inspire us. Garth lived every day full of openness, kindness, and generosity.
This year’s gathering was more than an event—it was a tribute to resilience, compassion, and the enduring bonds that make our community strong.
