Congratulations to New Partner, Dean Anderson

The partners of Welch LLP congratulate Dean Anderson on his promotion to Partner in the Ottawa Office.

Dean joined the firm in 2016, earned his CPA designation in 2019, and was promoted to Principal in 2024.

Dean supports owner-managed businesses, with a focus on accounting and tax. He is a trusted and reliable point of contact with an aptitude for providing support on a timely basis. Clients appreciate the clarity that he brings to complex financial matters – which is supported by his calm and patient demeanor. Dean has strong skills in the realm of corporate reorganizations and buy / sell transactions, with detailed support provided to clients and other parties involved in transactions. In many cases Dean is the quarterback, with an active role in modelling and tracking the key financial and tax elements of complex transactions.

Within Welch Dean supports our ongoing mentoring efforts, with a hands-on approach to the skills development of colleagues. Dean is impactful on our operating framework, with active involvement in projects and most recently a key role in our vetting and adoption of Retain as a resource management tool.
