In Memoriam: Honouring Bruce Drysdale

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Bruce Drysdale. Bruce was a cornerstone of the accounting profession in Ottawa and a respected leader at Welch LLP for more than five decades. His career was marked by unwavering integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to excellence. 

As a Chartered Accountant and senior partner, Bruce played an instrumental role in shaping the firm’s reputation and success. He was admired by colleagues and valued by clients for his expertise, sound judgment, and approachable nature. 

Bruce was also a visionary. He was the driving force behind bringing the first computers to Welch LLP. His forward-thinking approach set the stage for modernization and efficiency, ensuring the firm’s continued growth and success.
