We’re proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by Gurpreet Shergill, a member of Welch LLP’s Cybersecurity team.

Apple has officially recognized Gurpreet for identifying and responsibly disclosing security vulnerabilities in WebKit, the browser engine that powers Safari and serves as a core component across Apple’s ecosystem.

As part of Apple’s latest security updates, Gurpreet received credit for the discovery of CVE-2026-43735 and CVE-2026-43727, along with recognition for two additional security contributions.

This achievement highlights the depth of technical expertise within Welch’s Cybersecurity practice and the important role security researchers play in helping protect technology users worldwide.
