Shoreline Cleanup with Ottawa Riverkeeper

On Friday June 6th, 37 staff members at Welch LLP joined Ottawa Riverkeeper for a shoreline cleanup at Strathcona Park.
Together, we managed to collect 9 bags of garbage, 1 bag of recycling, and several miscellaneous large items including a sled and pieces of a bike. Altogether, it was a total of 115 kg (254 lbs) of trash removed from our shorelines.
Thank you to the incredible team at Ottawa Riverkeeper for all the work that you do in protecting, promoting, and improving the health of our Ottawa River and its tributaries. Welch LLP is eager for more opportunities to create positive influences in our community and to support such a vital cause.
