Join us for an evening of mingling and gambling in support of The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation on November 9th!
On November 9th, 2016 from 6-10PM Welch LLP & The Welch Legacy Foundation present The Grand Casino: Betting Against Cancer for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation at the Canadian War Museum!
Get ready to dress to the nines for a fun, social evening filled with gambling, drinks, and light canapés. Featuring entertainment by DJ Ilon & DJ Daviss.
With each ticket purchased, you will receive $500 in “Welch Dollars” to use at various gambling tables and towards the purchase of raffle tickets. Leading up to the event, you will also have the opportunity to earn additional Welch Dollars by personalizing a fundraising page online with the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. For every $10 raised online, you will receive an additional $100 of Welch Dollars. You will also be able to purchase supplementary Welch Dollars at the event.
With every $200 that you earn in Welch Dollars, you will be able to exchange them for an arm’s length of raffle tickets. With an abundance of prizes to be won, the auction will be setup to allow attendees the opportunity to credit their raffle tickets for each individual draw. Towards the end of the evening, one ticket will be drawn for each respective prize to determine the winner.
The Grand Casino will raise funds to support the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s Back to Work Program, which provides the education and support needed to transition back into the workplace after undergoing cancer treatment.
