Together, We Did it for Don

The Welch Mo Bros & Sistas came together for Movember 2025, honoring the memory of Don Scott, one of Welch LLP’s great partners, who we lost this year to prostate cancer. Don was more than a colleague – he was a trusted friend, an impactful mentor, and a master of all things Canadian tax. 

In his honor, we joined together to raise funds for men’s health initiatives. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Partners, staff, clients and friends, we raised an amazing $40,910! The Welch Community Foundation helped us make an even bigger impact by matching $7,500 in donations. 

“The Welch Community Foundation was delighted to support the Welch Movember team with a $7,500 donation, which was in addition to direct donations to the fundraising campaign by partners and staff. We have always believed in the Movember cause, however the opportunity to gift funds in memory of our colleague Don Scott had very special meaning to Welch. I also sincerely thank all the members of the Movember team for their fundraising efforts.”, said Welch LLP Managing Partner, Jim McConnery.
