Welch Cornwall Participated in 100 Women Who Care Raising $9,200 for Local Charities

Angie Savard, Welch LLP Manager, and Christina Russell, CPA, CA, represented our Cornwall office last night at the “100 Women Who Care Cornwall and Area”. $,9200 was raised from $100 donated by each woman who attended the event. The women listened to project pitches from 15 local charities and voted on who would receive the funds.

Each project had a different dollar component. The Maison Baldwin House and the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation tied! That resulted in the funds being split according to the project needs between the 2 charities. Partner, Alain Gravelle, sponsored the room costs for the evening, meaning that all funds raised went 100% to the winning charities.
