Welch LLP Cornwall raises $12,000 in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada

On Saturday November the 17th the Welch LLP Cornwall office hosted a Charity Casino Night in Celebration of Welch LLP’s 100th Anniversary with proceeds raised going to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. The event, held at the Nav Centre, was attended by 150 clients and business partners of the Welch LLP Cornwall office.

Guests were welcomed by the local office’s Managing Partner, Alain Gravelle, who spoke on behalf of the partners and staff of the Welch LLP Cornwall office thanking the guests for their continued patronage. Following Alain, Cystic Fibrosis’ Ambassador and a former Co-op Student of Welch LLP, Myles Lynch, spoke of his time at Welch and his struggles living with the disease.

Guests of the celebration were able to enjoy the various casino tables, some food and refreshments, while listening to a jazz band and being entertained by the magic of David Jans. Guests were able to redeem their winnings for a chance to win one of the 25 prizes donated by generous clients, business partners and friends of the Cornwall office.

Overall, approximately $12,000 was raised for Cystic Fibrosis Canada through the generosity of their guests! The partners and staff of the Welch LLP Cornwall office could not be more pleased with the results of the event.

A great time was had by all who attended the celebration!
