Welch LLP travelled to New York to speak at Anchin

Welch LLP travelled to New York City to speak to 60+ members at Anchin, the largest single-office public accounting firm in the U.S. and a member of the BKR International network of independent firms.

Welch Managing Partner Micheal Burch along with Director of U.S. Tax Services Alan Tippett, Partner Jim McConnery, Partner Kathy Steffan, and Principal Mona Tessier presented on “Doing Business in Canada” to educate Anchin on how to help their U.S. and international clients expand to and operate in Canada. The presentation focused on the Canadian tax regime, structuring inbound investment, the top 10 things to know about sales tax in Canada, and Welch LLP’s experience managing back office foreign corporations.
