Tamas Szasz awarded $2,500 scholarship in support of post-secondary studies
The partners of Welch LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, are pleased to announce Tamas Szasz as the recipient of the 2026 Quinte Scholarship Award. Tamas will receive $2,500 to support his post-secondary education.
Tamas will pursue a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Waterloo. The program combines accounting and finance with technology, analytics and practical experience to prepare students for a range of professional careers.
Welch LLP’s Quinte offices established the annual scholarship program in 2008 to recognize and support promising local students as they begin their post-secondary studies.
