Welch LLP in Campbellford is part of the Welch LLP Quinte Region Practice. The Quinte Region has six offices located in Belleville, Trenton, Picton, Napanee, Campbellford, and Tweed. 

Welch LLP is currently hiring  for a temporary Tax Season Assistant for our Campbellford office. This position is for three months and will be onsite at our office in Campbellford.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and calculate client tax information for return preparation and processing afterwards
• Process client payments of cash, cheque or POS
• Printing, emailing, faxing, filing and updating/maintaining detailed tracking lists
• Respond accurately and timely to partner, staff and outside requests
• Call clients to let them know their returns are ready for pickup
• Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience as a receptionist or office manager
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with numbers; demonstrates accuracy
• Ability to follow directions, instructions/procedures efficiently and accurately
• Works well under pressure
• Strong teaming skills
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience would be an asset
• Ability to work overtime, if required

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months with opportunity leading to part-time throughout year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Onsite at our office in Campbellford
