In honour of International Women’s Day on March 8th, our EDI Community Alliance put together an insightful webinar. Our EDICA team spoke with four spectacular diverse leaders from the Ottawa Capital Region about their journey and experiences as women in their fields.

This four-woman panel, moderated by Kathryn Hancock, Director of Human Resources at Welch LLP, talked about the female perspective in the workplace, the struggles and adversity that women face, and how you can be part of the solution.

Diversity-leadership is recognizing that cultural preferences differ and adapting strategies and processes that work for more group members. The EDI Community Alliance was established in 2021 as an attempt to bridge this gap. It was the creation of a platform for women of all backgrounds and expertise to come forward and share some of the challenges they have faced as they grew their career.
