Congratulations to New Partner Alex Mitrovic

The partners of Welch LLP congratulate Alex Mitrovic on his promotion to Partner in the Ottawa Office.

Alex joined Welch in 2014, earned his CPA designation in 2016, and was promoted to Principal in 2024.

With extensive experience supporting owner-managed businesses, Alex has become a trusted advisor who provides proactive support to clients. His focus is in the realm of accounting, with input on salient tax matters, and overall strategic planning support to clients. His main areas of focus are in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering & Construction and the Franchise industry – he has developed a strong profile and expertise in these key industry sectors.

Internally Alex is known for being a supporting and encouraging mentor, with significant effort on staff development. He also has an aptitude for process improvement initiatives that see us being more efficient and effective in various areas of client service. Alex leads the charge on sustainability at Welch, with a focus on Canadian ESG standards and related regulations to assess their impact on clients. Alex has also been the lead on the vetting of our impact and sustainability assessment, reinforcing our commitment to responsible business practices.
