International Film Festival Ottawa 2023 and Welch LLP

The 2023 International Film Festival in Ottawa was a huge success. Beginning March 8^th, 2023, IFFO was 12 days of showcasing the best of contemporary Canadian and international cinema from prestigious film festivals around the world. Congratulations to all the incredible cast members and volunteers who made the event happen!

This year was the first ever in-person International Film Festival in Ottawa, and Welch LLP is a proud sponsor. On the March 18th, Nicole Rogers on behalf of Welch LLP had an opportunity to share a few words of congratulations and greetings to everyone in attendance. As someone who previously worked in the film and broadcast industry, Nicole knows first-hand the importance of building a strong and reliable community in the entertainment industry.

“I love the experience of taking in a film festival. You get exposed to different ideas and cultures and connect with people and films you wouldn’t normally be able to. I am so glad Ottawa has its own film festival now.” Nicole added. “At Welch, we’re keen to work more and more with the film community and we were happy to sponsor an event that showcased a locally made film. We’re already looking forward to what next year will bring.”
