Welch LLP giving to the local community

This year has proven to be challenging in countless ways, including organizing in-person fundraisers and events for the community. Our 2020 Grand Casino Fundraiser unfortunately was cancelled due to the pandemic, but that didn’t stop our team from making a donation. What would have gone into organizing our annual Grand Casino fundraising event, raising thousands of dollars each year, was instead donated to various charities.

For the year of 2020, our Ottawa office donated $17,500 to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, our Toronto office donated $2,000 to Daily Bread Food Bank – Toronto, and our Renfrew office donated $1,000 to the Renfrew & District Food Bank.

We are happy to be able to provide meaningful support to charities and the local community despite the challenge of physical distance. We encourage everyone to also give back what they can, big or small, to organizations and non-profits that need our help.
