This year, three of our Quinte offices celebrated Halloween with a fun costume contest, and the results are in!
In 3rd place: Trenton Office with 26 points
In 2nd place: Belleville Office with 28 points
In 1st place: Campbellford Office with 29 points
Costumes were evaluated by scoring each of the following categories out of a possible 10 points:
- Creativity/Originality- are the costumes and theme creative, do they stand out?
- Effort- did the costumes and idea take time and effort?
- Authenticity- how accurate and thorough are the costumes and theme?
Congratulations to all the participating offices on each of your well-coordinated themes!

Tami’s Road to the Boston Marathon
January 05, 2023 – Tami Sylvestre, Partner in our Pembroke office has achieved her goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon in 2023! “I’ve always wanted to run a marathon, but I wanted to do it well” she tells us. At the start of 2022, Tami set a New Year’s resolution for herself to run a 3:30 marathon and qualify for the Boston Marathon.
Hockey Assignment of a Lifetime
January 04, 2023 – Congratulations to our very own Jenn Berezowski, manager in our Trenton office! She is one of twenty officials chosen by Hockey Canada to travel to Ostersund, Sweden for the IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Hockey Championships.
Faith Over Fear
December 08, 2022 – Faith over Fear Fund was created to encourage Welch LLP staff to push themselves outside of their comfort zone and accomplish something that is meaningful to them.
Kathy Steffan Appointed President of the National Club
August 04, 2022 – Congratulations to Kathy Steffan, Partner at our Welch Toronto office, on your recent appointment as President of the National Club. Having been a member of the club for 11 years, Kathy is excited to have been appointed this very prestigious role. “I am honoured that the Club had confidence in me,” says Kathy.
Welch Belleville and Day of Caring 2022
June 27, 2022 – The annual Day of Caring, organized by United Way Hastings & Prince Edward County, was held on June 23rd, 2022. This year, the Welch LLP volunteers headed over to The Salvation Army in Belleville to refresh the space.
