Samantha Slater, Manager at Welch LLP in our Toronto office, graduated from Carleton University in 2013 with honours. Samantha worked two jobs to put herself through university – one as a tax return assembler at Welch LLP. After graduating, she decided to join Welch as a full-time accountant.
Samantha got her CPA designation in 2015 and, shortly thereafter, moved to our Toronto Office where she builds a client portfolio focusing on NPOs and charities, media, entertainment and arts. Samantha is also involved in Education and Women in Leadership committees at work, where she continues to support and inspire her colleagues.
Sam plays recreational ball hockey, is an avid reader, and a talented artist in pencil, acrylics and photography. Samantha also volunteers on Boards – most recently as Treasurer of Green Thumbs Growing Kids Toronto.
