Mona joined Welch LLP in 1997 with 12 years of previous public accounting experience under her belt and was made a partner in 2021.
Mona earned her CA designation in 1990. In her current role at Welch LLP, Mona leads the indirect tax practice group and provides indirect tax and payroll tax advice to Welch LLP clients in various industries.
Mona also heads up the Inbound Cross Border Tax Group which helps to facilitate doing business in Canada for non-resident clients by helping them navigate the income tax and indirect tax issues applicable to their business and connecting them to other professionals for non-tax related services. The Inbound Cross Border Tax Group also provides back-office services which is much appreciated by clients that do not have a back office in Canada.

Enhanced GST Rental Rebate for Purpose Built Rental Housing
