Congratulations to New Partner, Mona Tessier

The partners of Welch LLP congratulate Mona Tessier on her promotion to Partner in the Ottawa Office.

Mona leads the Indirect Tax and Inbound Cross Border Tax Group and focuses on Indirect Tax issues for a large array of clients, in various industries as well as inbound income tax issues for cross border clients doing business in Canada. The Group also offers back office services to help facilitate Canadian payroll calculations, payments and related government remittances, and sales tax compliance and also offers bookkeeping services.

Mona Tessier has worked in public accounting since 1984 and joined Welch LLP in 1997. She earned her CA designation in 1990 and her public accounting experience includes computer based auditing, IT consulting support for financial accounting software, as well as traditional accounting, auditing and tax services.

A frequent speaker, Mona has given presentations through various organizations on Income Tax for the Self-Employed and Financial Accounting for Small Businesses. She has also instructed GST/HST courses on behalf of CPA Ontario and BKR International.
