On November 3, Monica Valbuena took the stage as a featured speaker at the BIPOC Women in Accounting event, hosted by WMN and TAC.

This inspiring event provided a platform for accomplished women to share their experiences, insights, and perspectives on navigating the accounting industry as BIPOC professionals.

The panel was filled with an impressive lineup of leaders in the industry, including Jia Liu, Partner at Baker Tilly; Imaan Ijaz, Senior Associate at PwC; Natalie Evans, Partner & Head of Assurance at GGFL LLP; and Zahra Raheel, Manager at Deloitte.

It was an incredible evening celebrating talent, resilience, and empowerment—encouraging the next generation to pursue their careers with confidence and purpose.
