Alan Tippett

Alan is the Director of US and Cross-Border Tax Services in the Ottawa office where he leads the US Tax compliance and advisory team. His public accounting experience has been focused on providing US and Cross-Border tax services to corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Alan formerly worked at a large accounting firm in Indianapolis, Indiana, before relocating to Ottawa. Alan is both a CPA and a lawyer.

In Eastern Ontario, Alan has provided advice and services to many local companies at various stages of their development cycle. He serves additional small and large enterprises in the defense, real estate, technology, and manufacturing sectors. In addition, he has completed many due diligence assignments related to merger and acquisition transactions and has assisted clients in commencing operations in the US and other foreign jurisdictions.
