Congratulations Rita Evdokimova, Newest Partner at Welch LLP

The partners of Welch LLP congratulate Rita Evdokimova on her promotion to Partner in the Ottawa Office.

Rita joined Welch LLP January of 2020. She has extensive experience, in Canadian, U.S. and global expatriate tax planning, compliance and consulting on behalf of multinational companies. In addition to advising corporate clients, Rita acts as a trusted tax advisor to individual clients providing cross border tax planning and compliance services. Rita also assists with Canadian tax issues for individuals emigrating or immigrating from / to Canada.

She has experience in coordinating and overseeing international expatriate programs specializing in delivery of tax, payroll and other related services to employees, including executives of multinational companies. Her clients included various multinational companies in various industries including technology, mining, and construction.

Prior to joining Welch, Rita held a senior position with a large international accounting firm and lead the Canada/U.S. Cross border team in Ottawa.

Rita holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University majoring in Accounting and Finance. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA – Ontario, Canada) and a Certified Public Accountant (Illinois, US). Rita is also a board member of the Organization for Women in International Trade and the Ottawa chapter of the Canadian Liver Foundation.
